Nursery – Cherry

This week we have continued our focus on September transition and read ‘The Colour monster goes to school’, the children have immersed themselves in a range of activities from cleaning the monsters teeth, to creating playdough face emotions and even making the colour monsters packed lunch. This week our pre-reception children have eaten lunch in the hall as they prepare themselves for life in Reception. They have explored where to sit, where the bin is and where to collect their lunch from, they have all shown us how fantastic they will be ready at listening, eating and lining up, ready for September. The children have continued to discuss things they are looking forward to doing those staying in Cherry class and those moving onto their new schools. We have played lots of group games and dominoes was a real hit this week! What a lovely colourful week! #earlybirds
