Early Birds nursery

This week, our Early Birds have thoroughly enjoyed exploring Owl Babies. The children listened attentively to the story and used puppets to retell events, helping to develop their speaking, listening and recall skills through the EYFS area of Communication and Language. They showed kindness and responsibility as they cared for the owl puppets and built nests together, supporting Personal, Social and Emotional Development by encouraging cooperation, sharing and new friendships. Following the class merge on Monday, it has been wonderful to see the children interacting confidently and getting to know one another and adapting to the new space so brilliantly. While building nests, playdough owls and moving large equipment, they used teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills, linking to Expressive Arts and Design and Physical Development as they handled and arranged materials with increasing control and purpose. What a great week together! #Earlybirds
