This week we embraced our whole‑school theme Shape Your Future. A real highlight was welcoming an Olympian, who led an inspiring assembly and a fantastic sports session. The children showed great enthusiasm, perseverance, and teamwork throughout.
In Reception, we talked about how athletes work hard to achieve their goals, linking this to the ELGs for PSED and gross motor skills. The children practised listening carefully, following instructions, and having a go — all key parts of the above.
It was a brilliant week full of motivation, movement, and big dreams for the future.
