Hazel – VR geography adventure 🌎

This week in Geography, Year 1 Hazel Class used VR headsets to travel to different places around the world without leaving the classroom! The children explored the hot desert and the icy Arctic, observing the animals, habitats and environments found in each location.
They discussed the similarities and differences between these contrasting places and used their knowledge to identify whether each area was close to the Equator or far away near the poles. The children were highly engaged and demonstrated excellent geographical thinking as they explored our amazing world from a whole new perspective. 🌎
