Maple Class – Maple class have been very busy so far this term, in science we have been learning about different materials and their properties, conducting a material hunt around the school, sorting different materials by their properties and investigating whether different materials are waterproof. In geography we have been using the technology available to us to discover the 7 continents and 5 oceans and how we can use maps and globes to aid our learning. In computing we have begun to use the Sphero cars to explore robots and how we can programme them to move. We have also been celebrating maths day by creating some mathematical posters.
