Year 5 had a brilliant afternoon learning about safety. During the session, we explored what healthy friendships look like, discussed how peer pressure can influence our decisions, learnt how to recognise bullying or unkind behaviour, and considered the importance of reporting concerns and supporting others when they need help.
The children worked exceptionally well as a team throughout the afternoon and engaged in thoughtful, mature discussions. They shared their ideas respectfully, listened carefully to one another, and demonstrated a strong understanding of how to make safe and positive choices both in and out of school. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explored these important topics together.
