As part of their Year 6 Science learning about the circulatory system, pupils used virtual reality to explore the structure and function of the human heart and see how blood travels around the body. Through this immersive experience, they deepened their understanding of key components of the circulatory system, including red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma, and the vital roles they play in keeping us healthy. Using VR technology brought learning to life, allowing pupils to visualise complex scientific concepts in an engaging and memorable way while developing their digital literacy skills. It was an exciting experience that helped make classroom learning both interactive and meaningful.
