Archaeologists in Cedar class

Today, Year 5 Cedar transformed into archaeologists as part of our history learning about the Shang Dynasty. The children explored a variety of artefacts discovered at the archaeological site of Yinxu. They carefully examined the objects, discussed their possible uses, and considered what materials they were made from, including bronze, bone and clay. Through questioning and discussion, the children used their observational skills to make inferences about what these artefacts can tell us about life in Ancient China. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they investigated the clues left behind by the past.
