The children have enjoyed a fantastic start to their Reception journey, settling into their new classroom and beginning to build positive relationships with their peers and adults. Through play, exploration and daily routines, they have been developing their confidence, communication skills and independence as they learn how to navigate their new environment.

We have spent time exploring the different areas of provision, encouraging the children to make choices, follow their interests and engage in a wide range of learning experiences. The children have been learning classroom routines and expectations, taking increasing responsibility for their belongings and beginning to manage some aspects of self-care independently.

We have been incredibly impressed by how enthusiastically the children have approached their first week. They have shown curiosity, resilience and a willingness to try new things, while demonstrating kindness and consideration towards others as they begin to form new friendships.

We are so proud of all they have achieved already and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow, learn and flourish throughout the year ahead. 🌈✨
