Map reading skills in Cedar

In Geography, Year 5 Cedar developed their map-reading skills using OS (Ordnance Survey) maps. The children learned how to interpret map symbols and features before using their knowledge to locate our school and identify nearby settlements.
They carefully explored the maps, using their observation and geographical skills to understand the relationship between different locations and the surrounding area. It was wonderful to see the children working collaboratively and confidently applying their map-reading knowledge to real-life examples.
