Badger Class were learning about body parts in Science today through a collaborative communication activity with their peers. The children developed their scientific knowledge by identifying, naming and discussing different parts of the human body, using appropriate scientific vocabulary to share their ideas and explain their thinking. They demonstrated key scientific enquiry skills by listening carefully to instructions, observing closely and communicating their understanding with others.
Throughout the activity, the children showed excellent social skills as they took turns, listened respectfully to their peers and worked cooperatively within their groups. They supported one another, shared ideas confidently and engaged in purposeful discussion, helping to build their confidence in communicating their learning. The activity provided an enjoyable opportunity to strengthen both their scientific understanding and their ability to interact positively and effectively with others.
