Our school trip to Wingham Wildlife Park was a fantastic day of learning, discovery and adventure! We were lucky to see a wide variety of amazing animals and learn about their unique characteristics, the different foods they eat and the habitats they call home.
Throughout the day, we explored how animals are specially adapted to survive in the wild. We had a workshop and learned how creatures such as tarantulas, platypuses, sloths and porcupines have developed incredible adaptations to help protect themselves from predators and thrive in their environments.
Despite the very warm weather, the children were an absolute credit to our school, showing excellent listening, respect and partnership throughout the day.
