Catching practise in the cool!

Despite the hot weather, we adapted our PE lesson to ensure everyone could stay active and safe while continuing to develop key skills. This week, the children focused on catching and passing with accuracy, learning how to control the ball and work effectively with a partner. They practised sending and receiving passes with increasing precision and considered how good communication can improve team performance.
A particular highlight was a lively game of Hoop Catch with Mrs Woodhouse. The game challenged the children to react quickly, move with agility and maintain excellent focus while aiming accurate passes and catches. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, determination and teamwork throughout the session.
The children showed fantastic perseverance and sportsmanship, demonstrating how practice and adaptation can help everyone achieve success ☀️🏀
