Tapas! 🍅🫒

Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon of tapas tasting as part of their Culture Week! The children developed their understanding of Spanish culture by exploring a range of traditional foods, using descriptive language to discuss flavours, textures and preferences. They also listened to Spanish music, identifying rhythm and tempo while building their appreciation of music from another culture. The experience encouraged communication skills, curiosity and cultural awareness, linking to their learning in geography and modern foreign languages. With the sunny weather, it felt just like being in Spain ☀️🕶️🍅🫑🫒
