Final ukulele lesson in Birch.

This week, Birch demonstrated their developing musicianship in line with the Year 4 Music National Curriculum. They performed confidently on the ukulele, showing an increasing ability to play and present music with accuracy, fluency and control. The children maintained a steady beat and rhythm while strumming a more challenging piece, and combined this with singing—demonstrating strong performance skills.

They also showed excellent responsibility by correctly handling and caring for their instruments, reflecting a growing understanding of how to perform respectfully both individually and as part of a group.

All the hard work has clearly paid off—well done, Birch! 😊
