Nursery – Cherry Class

This week we read another range of poems from our book ‘Honey for you, Honey for me’. The children got involved with a variety of activities that linked to the poems. We made a big train and read our story ‘Engine engine, number nine’ following the actions! The children explored stretching jelly slime while saying our poem aloud ‘Jelly on a plate’. We used our fine motor skills to make bird feeders out of Cheerios and pipe cleaners. We have been eagerly watching our caterpillars turn into chrysalis, and the children have loved explaining the process step by step. What a fantastic week! #earlybirds
