Geography – Maple class

Today, Maple Class showed excellent teamwork as they worked together to create simple maps of the school, linking to the Geography curriculum in Years 1 and 2. Using aerial photographs and first-hand exploration, the children explored different areas of the school grounds. They identified and labelled key features, distinguishing between human features such as classrooms, play equipment and pathways, and physical features including trees, grassed areas and natural spaces.

Great work, Maple Class!
