This week, the children enjoyed exploring jungle animals through movement, creativity, and early writing. In our “move like a jungle animals” game, they developed coordination and confidence, supporting Physical Development and Expressive Arts and Design. Making animal masks encouraged imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression. During our “lost posters” activity, the children practised early writing, applying their phonics knowledge to label and describe, linking to Literacy goals. They also showed growing confidence in speaking and understanding as they discussed their ideas. These activities supported the ELGs across Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, and Expressive Arts and Design.
