TCS Mini London Marathon

We were incredibly lucky this term to be balloted and selected to take part in the TCS Mini London Marathon, and what a truly unforgettable day it was. On Saturday 25th April, thirteen of our pupils, accompanied by four parents and Mr O, ran the 2.6km to represent our school at this prestigious national event. From start to finish, the children were BRAVE and AMBITIOUS, embracing the challenge with determination, positivity and exemplary behaviour.

The Mini London Marathon offers young runners the chance to complete part of the world-famous marathon route, finishing on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. I was watching at the finish line and felt an overwhelming sense of pride as I saw our pupils run past, smiling and focused, in such an iconic setting. Their participation was a powerful reflection of our VISIONARY approach to providing enriching opportunities beyond the classroom and a wonderful celebration of confidence, resilience and community spirit.
