NatWest Thrive workshop- Elder

Elder class really enjoyed their NatWest Thrive workshop with our visitors this morning! The session linked closely to maths, particularly developing skills in money management and budgeting, as pupils explored how financial choices affect everyday life. Through practical discussion, they considered how making informed decisions – such as saving energy – can help manage household costs more effectively.

This learning supports the National Curriculum for Mathematics, including solving problems involving money, using multiplication and division in real-life contexts, and applying maths to practical financial situations. The children had some fantastic discussions and questions, and confidently showcased their new understanding through presentations at the end of the session. Well done Year 5! 💵💵
