Multiplication and Division games

The Year 2 Maths class had a fantastic time in their final lesson of the unit. The classroom buzzed with cheerful chatter as the children practised counting in 2s, 5s and 10s, an essential Year 2 objective, and used these patterns to solve practical problems with increasing fluency, accuracy and recall. They also demonstrated key knowledge such as using arrays, making equal groups, and linking repeated addition to multiplication—all through play.

It was a joyful end to the unit, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and smiles all around.
