Inverted commas – Year 5

Today, Year 5 focused on using inverted commas accurately in their writing, with a particular emphasis on choosing the correct punctuation before the closing inverted commas. The children used practical resources to build and rearrange sentences, helping them understand exactly where each piece of punctuation belongs. Once they had explored the rules, pupils created their own sentences and proudly demonstrated their new skills in their books. Fantastic effort, Year 5 – your writing is really developing! 📖✨
