Mother’s Day Celebrations

Hedgehog Class have had a lovely time making Mother’s Day cards today. As they carefully cut and stuck their decorations, the children were strengthening the fine motor skills that are essential for early independence and later writing, such as using the small muscles in their hands and fingers to make controlled, accurate movements. They also explored colour and experimented with how to arrange their flowers, engaging in early mark‑making behaviours and creative exploration that support children to develop coordinated hand–eye movements and begin to make deliberate artistic choices.

A beautifully creative and developmentally rich activity for our learners! 🦔🌷
