Birch class Year 4

Shared stories with Maple class

Birch Class enjoyed a wonderful visit to Maple Class, where they shared and read some of their favourite stories together. The older pupils demonstrated excellent social skills, showing kindness, patience, and encouragement as they supported the younger children through the books. Meanwhile, the younger pupils practised important skills of their own, such as listening, turn‑taking, confidence-building, and interacting positively with older role models.

The session was full of smiles, thoughtful conversations, and a shared enjoyment of reading—showcasing how reading together can strengthen relationships as well as social development.
