This week, we have all been enjoying the sunny weather! Hedgehog room have had a wonderful time exploring our outdoor provision, where the children developed their gross motor skills and confidence as they rode bikes and strengthened their sensory exploration while playing with colourful foam.

Our focus story has been Each Peach Pear Plum. The children have been engaging in early literacy skills by joining in with familiar phrases and talking about the characters in the story. They also had the chance to make some yummy porridge for Goldilocks and the Three Bears, choosing from a variety of toppings. This supported their communication and language, independence, and understanding of early maths, as they talked about quantities while adding their ingredients.
