Our digital leaders did an amazing job leading the Safer Internet Day on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone for joining us in celebrating this wonderful and important day! 🤖

We rocketed into Term 4 with an out‑of‑this‑world adventure—quite literally! Ash Class blasted off on a virtual trip to the Moon, using VR headsets to explore its rugged surface, examine lunar landings, and discover the incredible design and landscape of our nearest celestial neighbour. Back on Earth, children got hands‑on with moon sand and space rocks, made their very own moon‑boot footprints, and enjoyed stargazing.

Our learning mission had one key objective: to collect rich, ambitious vocabulary for our writing this term! They used all their senses to generate powerful descriptive words and then collaborated to create a class Book Creator filled with their new adjectives and space‑themed vocabulary. Dictionaries were on hand to help them understand unfamiliar words, while thesauruses supported them in finding rich, appropriate alternatives for some of their chosen adjectives.

It was a magical start to the term—and the perfect launchpad for our upcoming writing!
