Practical maths 💷

Holly Class have completed their topic on money in maths and have learnt how to add, subtract and identify different coins, as well as finding the correct change. To help solidify this knowledge, they played a board game in which they had to add and subtract money, before Holly class was turned into a pizza shop! The children were given a handful of coins and notes and took it in turns to order whatever they liked from my shop. They added their amounts, found the correct amount to pay and worked out how much they would need in change. They were money superstars and had a lot of fun! Well done Holly Class! 💷💷
