Our first few days in Year 2- Hazel Class.

Hazel class have quickly settled back into school, like superstars, and have demonstrated their ability to thrive in a new classroom, with new friends and a new teacher! It has been wonderful getting to know their personalities and also learning about their interests, which I’m sure we will cover many of in our curriculum this year! Hazel have had lots of fun learning about adjectives and nouns, the composition of 6 & 7 and have also been demonstrating their phonics knowledge…which I have been very impressed by, and I loved reading their unique captions, to describe characters in our new story ‘How to Find Gold’. I look forward to spending our first full week together, next week, and getting to know them even more! Well done, Hazel Class!
